| Job Description: |
Assume a technical leadership role on the Global Information Security team, which provides security operations and computer incident response support for all GE businesses. This position reports to the IRC Detection Operations Leader. Responsibilities include: * Act as the intermediate escalation point for incidents involving GE computing resources. * Provide technical IR support for litigation and internal investigations * Perform advanced security information and event monitoring * Manage and customize SIEM and Log management infrastructures to accommodate custom use cases for GE businesses * Perform reverse engineering and malware/tool analysis * Conduct emerging Information Security threat research * Manage Information Security lab operations * Develop computer incident response processes and tools * Design and build custom network sensors for traffic analysis * Prepare detailed incident and root cause analysis reports for management * Coordinate response activities for business information security teams |
| Job Requirements: |
* YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT." * Detailed understanding of multiple technical platforms. * Experience conducting computer forensic investigations * Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. * Strong business acumen. * Understanding of regulatory requirements related to information security, data protection, and privacy across the globe. * Extensive interpersonal, written/verbal communication, negotiation, and leadership skills * Experience leading matrix teams across business, geographical, and time zone boundaries * Must be 18 years of age or older. * You must be willing to take a drug test * You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history, and educational background * To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record. * You must be legally authorized to work in the United States |
